Railway Centenary (Released: 2nd Oct 1953)
Indian Railways		Indian Railways was introduced in 1853, and this stamp was released to mark the 100 years of the railways. The stamp shows a train from 1853 and another from 1953.
Conquest of Mount Everest (Released: 2nd October 1953)
		On 29th May 1953, Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay became the first to reach the Mount Everest summit. This stamp was released to acknowledge their achievement.
Centenary of Telegraphs (Released: 1st Nov 1953)
		Designed on a concept similar to the Indian Railways stamp in same year, this stamp showed the telegraph poles from 1853 and 1953.
